Cryosurgery for TTS is currently not available in the UK but is available in the US. Peter Wilkinson (Sales Manager) at Cryogenic has provided me with these first set of photos. They remain the property of Cryogenic and Dr Goldstein and use of these photos requires permission from both Cryogenic and Dr Goldstein. The second set of photos have been provided by/and remain the property of Dr Steven Goldstein. Unauthorised use of these photos are not permitted. Both sets of photos are protected by Tap4TTS.co.uk.
Extract from an email sent to me from Dr Goldstein who performed the operation. ‘…These photos are of a patient that had unsuccessful open TTS by a respected New Jersey foot and ankle orthopaedist. Unfortunately for the patient it was unsuccessful. I performed Cryosurgery on him and he is 75%-85% better. The pain is gone. He still has some numbness which I feel will be permanent but all the pain is gone…‘ Steven H. Goldstein, DPM. Certified CRYOSTAR Surgeon http://www.footfreezer.com
If you click on photos below, they will appear enlarged.
Doctor Goldstein has said that the second set of photos above are more representative of how he is doing the procedure today, since he invented this technique with the Cryostar.
