My nic-name was given to me at college by the directors, because of my long legs and learning to use them by travelling across floor and using the stage/space to best effect. Also learning to really stretch/pull up the backs of my knees to support myself in ballet/jazz etc as I was so used to bending my knees to be grounded in Tap dance. The likeness being… a newly born deer learning to walk for the first time… Bambi (The Walt Disney film). The name stuck, some students/people I have worked with professionally in dance, only know me as Bambi.

Developed Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy tingling and burning pain in feet, worse in the evening worse when exposed to cold it exacerbated the symptoms. Started taking Percocet to alleviate pain which initially helped then as time went on need to take 2 pills then 3 at a time so I stopped as to not develop an addiction. Always sleep with socks on in winter decided I would have to live with it until 2 months ago started taking Metanx for my Neuropathy 2 pills/day and noticed a dramatic relief in symptoms very helpful for me.
